Some videos of Isabella in her first few weeks

This was taken at about 10 days old. She was acting a little fussy so I got her mobile set up and put her under it. She kept fussing around until I pushed the button that made the sound of a heart beat. You can see how calm she is and she just wanted to sit and listen. Reminds me of just how new they are.


Here she is in her first week of life. She is so alert and makes great eye contact. I love how this video shows her five wrinkles at the top of her forehead. Whenever she is concentrating or looking around they appear.


She kept smiling and so I tried catching one on camera, but all I got was a video of her going cross-eyed trying to look at me. Still cute anyway...

Six months old

She is growing so fast and she could not get any cuter to her Mommy.  She started her first foods and actually did much better than Noah.  She still has no teeth and is on the verge of sitting on her own.  She drools ALL day and it's hard to keep her dry.  I switch her clothes three times a day!  She is still a very tender and sweet little girl who loves to smile and laugh.  Her favorite game is chasing Noah around the house and just today she started playing a game where every time I kissed her head she would kick and I would make a sound then she would belly laugh, this went on for a good while and it's the first time I think she's started a game.  She is getting so smart.  She loves Noah and any little kid for that matter.  She loves to cuddle and actually loves it when you kiss her.  How lucky am I?  She is doing much better on her new antibiotic and we are finally starting to get some sleep around here.  I definitely love to spoil her.  I'd rather go shopping for h

Clark Planetarium

Scott and I took Noah to the Jazz game, but due to some parking struggles, ended up parking at the Clark Planetarium. I didn't get any pictures at the game, but I did remember to take a few at the planetarium we stopped at before driving home. Noah loves the moon and every time we go out at night he starts scanning the sky for it. Needless to say, it was a fun night.

Our Mall Routine

We usually park at Nordstrom and head directly to see the fish. If you ask the kids shoe department, they give out free balloons as well. Noah usually wants a red or blue one. Then we ride the escalator as many times as I can stand before we head to the slide. This portion of our outing will end soon since they close at the end of this month. About half the time, we pick up an Oreo shake at the Nordstrom cafe and Noah likes to sit and drink it in front of the big hot fire while he colors pictures with their complimentary coloring sets the cafe hands out. We then head to the Disney store and I let him play with all the toys. I'm sure the workers there hate me because I rarely buy any of them. Sometimes he wants to stop at Build-A-Bear and look at all the animals, but usually he is too excited once I mention the slide to do anything else.
