Spiderman lives with me now

Noah is going through his first superhero fetish and I have my Mom to thank for that.  He actually has never even seen any show having to do with spiderman but if Kale thinks it's cool, so does Noah.  So much so, he even had to ride the alpine slides in his costume. I did make him take off the mask because I was worried it would blow away and then we'd really have a dilemma on our hands.

Our Mall Routine

We usually park at Nordstrom and head directly to see the fish. If you ask the kids shoe department, they give out free balloons as well. Noah usually wants a red or blue one. Then we ride the escalator as many times as I can stand before we head to the slide. This portion of our outing will end soon since they close at the end of this month. About half the time, we pick up an Oreo shake at the Nordstrom cafe and Noah likes to sit and drink it in front of the big hot fire while he colors pictures with their complimentary coloring sets the cafe hands out. We then head to the Disney store and I let him play with all the toys. I'm sure the workers there hate me because I rarely buy any of them. Sometimes he wants to stop at Build-A-Bear and look at all the animals, but usually he is too excited once I mention the slide to do anything else. Bucket Lists

The other day I was reminded of how grown up Noah is becoming.  He is starting to grasp the idea that you don't want to be naked in front of other people, starting to use bigger words like "usually" and asking more thought provoking questions. He found a spray scent freshener in the bathroom and after me explaining it to him I forgot about the conversation.  The next time he had pooped I hear him asking me to come and wipe him.  I walked in and he had a huge smile on his face and asked "Does it smell stinky in here?" To my surprise it smelled fruity and then he showed me the spray that he had so thoughtfully used for my benefit. He now uses it every time and loves that he is a big boy. I wondered how many times I have forgotten about how much he loves to take in the world around him and experience things for himself and I forget to include him in things like that.  The other day I sent him to his room after he threw a foam toy at Bella's face when they were ...

Happy Birthday to Rylee and Kale

May is always a fun time of year with everything warming up and summer around the corner.  It also is special because Rylee and Kale were both born this month, which means two birthday parties for Noah.  Rylee's was the the Hogle Zoo and Noah loved it.  I didn't realize that kids three and under were free so I'll be taking him more often since he had so much fun.  His favorite animals were probably the elephants.  There was a "Daddy,"  "Mommy," and "Baby Noah" elephant that were really active.  Eating, splashing in the water and taking mud baths.  He couldn't get enough of it.  I was sort of let down by the tigers who just slept the whole time we were there.  I swear this happens every time I go to the zoo.  He also loved the turtles which surprised me because I realized how creepy turtles are when you stare at them for a long period of time.  They started to look dead to me but they yet they still were moving, it freaked me ou...
